Star Telephone Community Relations Manager Jeff Shipp visited the second grade class of Jane Applewhite at Bladen Lakes Primary to present a check for $500 for classroom supplies. Mr. Shipp also had "goodies" for each of the students such as pencils, rulers, and cups. Shipp explained that the cups were "magic" cups and showed the students a science experiment with the cups.  As he placed ice cubes in the white cup students watched in amazement as the cup changed color from white to red.  Oohs and aahs could be heard by all.  Students can perform their own magic science experiment at home with their parents as each one received a cup from Mr. Shipp.
